Please explain why this is different to multi level marketing.

    Because it is not multi-level marketing as you do not earn any compensation from anyone other than your direct referrals after they have made a purchase. In MLM you earn compensation on various levels down wards on different levels.

    That is the difference between affiliate marketing and MLM marketing.
