I love doing projects like these, so I am now on the lpok out of a nice sized piece of furniture to do a penny art project - can't wait to get started.

I've seen someone's kitchen floor done in pennies - it looked awesome but took so long to do. And they had to cover it with a resin so it was flat and the pennies didn't lift.
I like the splash back idea.

I can only imagine how long a floor would take, thanks I think I'll do a side table and keep it to put a lush green house plant on to see how it goes. Thanks for reply - love upcyling old stuff others have done away with and breathing new life into them. :D

Thanks, thinking a table to see how it goes, I saw one done with the pennies grouted with a charcoal coloured grout and that looks so good I will try that I think for a first effort, have to go to the bank with some notes to exchange for pennies...gonna get some odd looks. :)

Thatll look good. Ive seen another idea with the inner layer of a cd like a rainbow effect. Particularly prety when a lamp is shining on it. Refects beautiful refections of fractionated light.
