Since 2015, the Chinese government has admittedly been buying up shares through subsidiary entities, out in public view. They aren’t denying it but in general, the public is unaware simply because it’s indirect. Either way intervention is always great temporarily because it (Falsely) gives investors confidence. But eventually, reality sets in.
