Alaska Officially in Recession as 1 in 7 NOW ON FOOD STAMPS! Alarming Numbers!

in money •  7 years ago

Alaska is officially in a recession right now. The situation is so dire at this time and people are living so far below the poverty line, the government now needs to feed countless people. This is not a normal scenario particularly when we are told that everything is doing well and prosperity is expanding every year. Can you guess what the solution will be?

To be quite honest, I have seen people pull up in a 40k+ late model Mercedes, Land Rovers, and BMW's get items from our store and could see they were on food stamps via the register. Food stamps do not necessarily mean they are in need in America anymore unfortunately.

Wow, that's insane!

Democrat has been running Alaska for 4 years. Doesn't take long for a corrupt and incompetent politician to turn any place into a Shithole.

It matters who you vote for. If you vote for leftist Democratic Communists, then the outcome is not going to be good.

Wake up America

I've noticed that as time goes on, we are simply degrading further and further. This doesn't look pretty for the future. I can say that for myself here in Toronto but I'm sure most major cities are also experiencing that.

I know a fire fighter out of Bramalea. A much different city than 30 years ago. A lot of the same folks that Trump pulled back funding for just recently. That won't happen in Canada. Culture is too mainstream PC. You must be overwhelmed daily by the growing lunacy around you.

The people of Alaska are not doing well. But as discussed here in this video, this is just a small piece of the overall picture. All dominoes will fall.

Do you see a deteriorating economy where you live?

Wealth Reallocation.
I work so you get paid.

The destruction of the middle class is ultimately what they want. Keep people around the poverty line.

Thank you Mr. Cheetah Bot for finding the article that I sourced here...

I live in Kentucky and I feel like we’re headed in that direction I mean I’m doing fine but our government wants to destroy the state I mean their taking away health care and restricting access to school busses like the mountain counties are losing their busses and so much more it’s horrible. Our country is rolling down the hill of revolution real quick

That's the goal. Destroy communities, create mega cities, control the population.

@themoneygps: thanks for posting your video. I do agree with your stance on things, pretty much spot on. however, I am a born and raised Alaskan, and your news source, like most news sources, is skewed and misleading. Anchorage is the main city and most populated. Anchorage only represents 8.7% of the states food stamp delegation by county. so the county with the most residents by far has a very low percentage of food stamps.

https://statisticalatlas.com/state/Alaska/Food-Stamps

most of the food stamp delegation is in the predominantly native alaskan counties/villages. I dont mean to sound stereotypical, but we can already expect the native villages to be living somewhat off the government.

there is a recession to some degree in alaska, though it isn't so dire as our liberal and bankrupt newspaper would have you believe. you should also be aware the our beloved (not) governor walker decided after 60 years to just yank half the dividend payment from each qualifying alaskan resident because he felt like it. he claims it's to balance the budget, and yet legislation is drawn out in Juneau (expensive to get to/stay in) with little to no progress made. those same natives in the villages living off food stamps also heavily rely on their annual dividend share to pay a piece of their living expense. put a family of 5 with 2000 a piece and you start to get the picture.

I appreciate the purpose of this post and again I do agree with your point here. but as an alaskan I had to offer some insight and correction on the real picture as it pertains to my home state.
