Stock market investors hate it when unemployment rate drops!

in money •  6 years ago

Investors are not happy that more jobs where created in the USA.
The investors where also very unhappy that the reported unemployment rate in the U.S. dropped to its lowest point since 1969.
Even though we should not really believe the reported figure since we all know how "imaginative" national statistics bureaus can be when they decide to reduce the official unemployment rate, the message remains the same:
When more people have a job, stock market investors are very unhappy.
Obviously, their profits do not come from the fact that the companies they have invested in will sell more goods and more services to more people due to the fact that more people now can afford them!
What a screwed up system and what AN EYE OPENER for many of us (about 99% of us)we are hiring.jpg!
