This seems like an organised pump-and-dump, leveraging an API exploit.

This from a Redditor called Ruhroh2000:

"Its kind of strange, this morning I got an alert from a telegram group I follow that gives trading tips. And it suggested I buy Viacoin and sell it for 32k."
