Hello! My name is Edith and I was recently introduced to Steemit and the world of cryptocurrency by my boyfriend. I immediately got excited and saw Steemit's great potential! At first I had many doubts and did not know how to start. What motivated to get started was reading the post by Tara. I believe that I can contribute to the girly content Tara mentions and that Steemit is missing! As you can see she was right when she said that this content will attract women and therefore expand Steemit and its users, which leads to more money for all! This has already been proven to be effective as you can see that I was motivated by this post and I am sure many women have joined as well and started posting after reading it.
I currently live in Los Angeles where I work in the cosmetic industry. Part of my job allows me to work with hundreds of beauty and fashion bloggers and youtubers with large followings ranging between a few thousand all the way to 4.6 million, which is one of the biggest I have worked with. It is a huge industry that attracts many women to be part of and I want to bring that over to Steemit!
I am very passionate about travel, fashion, beauty, food and wine. I have traveled to 13 countries so far and plan to continue doing so and sharing my experiences as well as tips to save money traveling, dining, dressing in style, beauty and many other things! I would love to contribute to these categories, help start the ones that have not yet been created and possibly doing this in another language as well to attract other users to Steemit!

I got her into Steemit as shes into blogging and told her Steemit would be the way to start! Not to mention make some money from it! But yes you're right I told her to take a picture of herself tomorrow holding a Newspaper to prove she's real. I'll make sure of it she gets it done tomorrow. As she does want to build a following on here and share her thoughts and travels with our fellow Steemers!

They want you to confirm your identity I think because women seem to be doing phenomenally well on this site. It is a nice change. So some sneaking men might come up with the idea to try to pretend to be someone that looks like you. :)
The thing is. If you do well, we ALL do well because as your STEEM POWER goes up like it inevitably will when you decide to vote up one of our posts and talk to us, we do well also.
So keep up the great posts with places like those awesome mesa shots and tell us some stories and from what I've seen you should do quite well. :)
