I'm talking about the rule of 72 and compound interest today .
If you give me a million dollards today and me and you partner on a real estate deal , i'am going to go hunt a deal that pays us 10% a year . In 10 years i 'm basically compounding interest now , OK ?
I'm basically using the rule of 72 to say " DID I DOUBLE ? " , your first one million dollars is protected , you've received this ,in cash flow . OK , now i gotta sell this property , if i can't double that million dollars i'm not selling it .
We are looking at opportunities to protect money , get a return , tax advantages in the process , and appreciation so that 3 years , 4 years , i can double the initial money that went into a deal .
