It is all good advice. I would add, that adding budget planing into your daily routine is something that usually makes ones financial situation better, not be ause they start spending less, but start spending money smarter.
Some years ago I've bougt the YNAB budgeting software, but it is not the program that is most valuable there, but the principles behind using it. And now that the software went to a subscription based model it isn't as interesting, but fortunately the old "Classic" software still works, and I am still using it. In fact made it a point to make of habbit recording the transactions, as well as spending some time each month planning. Things are much better and less stressful for me.
I'll see how to incorporate some of your advice into my planning as well.
