Intel is planning to invest in blockchain technology.
Raja M. Koduri, Intel's senior vice president of Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group, wrote a blog post on Friday about blockchain technology and the "new bespoke compute group." Intel, according to Koduri, is well aware that some blockchains "translate to an enormous amount of energy." Customers are asking for "scalable and sustainable solutions," according to the Intel CEO.
According to Koduri's blog post, "Intel will participate and support an open and secure blockchain ecosystem, and will assist advance this technology in a responsible and sustainable manner."
