Dead mattress

Some day soon, I will post pictures of the horror that is my back garden, which I have been slowly cleaning up. When I was clearing up some of the overgrown creeper on the rocks, there were a lot of old shoes and other rubbish that had been tossed there by the squatter in my house. These belonged to the previous owner, after he left the house to the squatter in order to escape the destructive relationship that he was trapped in. There were a few loose large upholstery springs rusting away on the rocks as well and I assumed that someone had once chucked an old chair base up there to moulder.

Today I was digging in anther corner of the rocks which had been used as a dumping site and I unearthed old syringes and broken glass tubing that was yet more of the squatter's drug paraphernalia, little glass nail polish bottles, and many more springs - either an entire mattress, or a large sofa -worth of the things. I thought the springs made a good black and white image on the concrete

This is called a picture abstraction drawn by a slate! :-)
I don `t know if you noticed that on the right side of the photo the wire is clearly like a rope ready to hang .....
Especially two circles on the right side! hahaha
Great photo!
The horror photos have begun!
Great idea for a black and white photo! !

Thank you! Yes, they do look like hanging ropes

:-)

I too find all kinds of junk thrown out by the previous tenants. I guess there are plenty of people that live like pigs everywhere. 🐓🐓

For sure!

My backyard is a bit of a horror story as well. Poison ivy grows in the grass and vines up the cedar hedges of my neighbors yards.

I wonder if it is worth trying to smother the poison ivy to get rid of it?

Great black and white. people what can i say, disgusting.

The less said, the better!

Wow, that guy must have been a real freak!
