Money may not buy happiness, but I'd rather cry in a Jaguar than on a bus.

This beautiful vintage jaguar was parked in the Sobey's parking lot. Unfortunately, my shot of the full car didn't turn out.

While editing with mono tone filters I made sure to take advantage of how the chrome sparkled and reflected the light. I used cooler tones to keep the chrome's appearance clean.

It's probably a kit car but it was interesting to see. I noticed that we have a large car group in our village that gathers in the parking lot on weekends. They pull out their lawn chairs, drink Tim Horton's coffees and talk about, well, cars.

black and white seems to bring out the sparkle of chrome as in that second photo. Beautiful

You could use these for a story you know. Anytime you want a photo, just copy it and give me credit. No payment necessary. :)

Such a great photo. Nice

Thank you so much. Glad you like it.

I think this old jaguar just needed some mystery to make it even more interesting. You did amazing job editing and enhancing the sparkle!

Aw, thanks @emmamia. I think you get me and my photography. I have a style I think. I'm not a pro that is for sure.

Cool car. The nice cool tone suits the photo well. Would be great to see a shot of the whole car though.

I know. I wished it turned out so I made art out of the other three. The reason I didn't show the whole photo was the ugly dirty van beside it took away from the mysteriousness. I really just wanted to highlight the chrome.

I think that's what car guys do the world 'round! Great photos. I do love Jags!

Yes...they all drink coffee and gossip about who has the best car....I just know it. Who should polish it better etc. I've heard them . Funny to spy.

I think I could cry quite well in a Jaguar but ain't nothing gonna make me cry pretty. LOL

me either....just wouldn't want to do it on a bus....or in front of people....I have a really ugly cry. And the Jag is pretty cool - I'd love to drive it in the summer and wave like the Queen. I'd even wear an ugly hat.

ROFLMAO.
I nearly lost my cocoa imagining the two of us wearing ugly hats and waving from a Jag.

haha....would be so fun.....especially if we wore long gloves and bedazzled sunnies - cat style of course.

I would totally dig out my Bedazzler for you.

Awesome....it's a date!

Nice shots! I like the headlight detail best. Interesting that it's got a screen over it, though...

The dog still gets the best friend spot for me, though. I would take mass transit, if it were viable here!

That's what I liked too....the chrome on the headlight.....I love the shine on chrome.

Yes, dogs are my best friend too. I took public transport for years....I found it quiet and convenient. No shame taking a bus that's for sure.

I like how you edited these. Sometimes its nice to learn what the photographer was going for artistically and what choices they used to get there.

Yes, I agree. I don't really know know what I am doing. I just play with all the buttons until it looks nice. Sometimes I even play with the graph thingies....so technical right? I really did enjoy the chrome though. Reminds me of polishing things when I was younger I suppose.
