Overlooking the sea...

The Pura Batu Bolong (Batu Bolong Temple) in Bali,
is perched precariously at the end of a rocky outcrop
with an arch beneath it, out at sea
The view from there and the sea breezes blowing on you while
standing looking out must be some kind of wonderful
Unfortunately, the temple only admits Hindus
It may be a tiny structure but makes an impact because of where it stands
Interestingly enough, it stands a stone's throw away from the more famous Tanah Lot, with some even mistaking Batu Bolong for Tanah Lot itself!

I love this temple. 💛

It is only a small simple temple or even a shrine, but what a wondrous location... :)

Thank you, @pixresteemer! :)

I really miss Batu Bolong and my surf sessions at Berawa Beach

Ooohhhh I can imagine how you long to return... Me too! :)

Can't really see the full features of the temple due to dark shadow on the left hand side. It does look like an ancient site with your black and white photograph.

It is a very small place; here is the original colour shot... :)
Lots of black stone and the evening sun shading that corner doesn't really help...
