Monomad Flowers: Unidentified

I have no clue what this is and sadly no time to sit down and look it up. It is pink in color and grows in a coastal meadow here in Northern Denmark. But what fascinates me is not its color, but its shapes, which seem even more fascinating in monochrome.

I took this one in my camera's black and white mode, but tweaked the levels a bit in GIMP on the computer. That's my only postprocessing on this shot.

The shape of the petals is unique to me. They're kind of joined together halfway along the petal; I don't think I've seen that before.

Yes, I considered it a single petal that splits into 4... that and the ridges on the buds fascinated me.
