@Brumest has created a new photography contest, and of course I'm excited to get in on it!
The topic for this week is silhouettes, so I edited this sunset shot of the giant spider in my neighborhood. To fit the #monomad theme I made it into just a colorsplash edit instead of the hyper saturated picture I originally took.
This version is pretty cool because it looks like the spider is sucking the color out of the sunset.
I've loved this spider since I moved in, but it's funny how something that is so strange at first can become so normal after you see it a million times.
I bike under this behemoth 3-5 days a week because it watches over my favorite trail, and now it's just part of the landscape that I'm zooming by. A very cool part of the landscape.
The #monomad contest stipulates that you can have up to five entries, but one must be made each day of the week. I was a little late, so this is my first entry for silhouettes, but it's coming in on Tuesday.
