This is my entry of today for #monomad photographic contest, hosted by @monochromes.
Unfortunately I don't know the name of this mushroom. The original color is yellow.

I need to look it more than two times to know that this is a mushroom. Maybe it is because of the colour background

Not knowing where you are in the world, but there are mushrooms in northern Europe called Hedgehog Mushrooms (Hydnum repandum), which are a wonderful edible breed. They are very easy to identify, because of the spines instead of gills underneath them :-D I was collecting a lot of them back in October, on the Isle of Arran in Scotland <3
This is a photo of them, once picked: the darker yellow ones (with gills) are chanterelles, and the paler creamy coloured ones are hedgehog mushrooms...
Make sure you are more than 100% sure, everyone, before ever eating a mushroom from the wild!!
