Coneflower • Monomad

The coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) is know for its medicinal benefits and boosting the immune system. It also has beautiful blossoms like the one I captured in the park yesterday. This flower grew out over a bed of foliage which made for an interestingly chaotic background.

            This flower is almost similar to the sunflower, but your flowers are very pretty. I also have flowers that are almost similar to your flowers 😊

            It does look like a sunflower from this angle. From the side you can see the cone shape with the raised center and the petals angled downward... hence coneflower!
