Hi there!
Here is my entry for today's Monomad organised by @brumest / @monochromes . It's a photo I took while I was studying in Beijing. It was taken in an actual hutong (not one of those revamped alleys that look like Disneyland) between the first and second ring roads. I like this photo because so many small details of life in Beijing are present in there: the rusty bicycle, the cigarette, the importance of culture and books, the woman in the shadow, the streetlife, etc. :)
Shot with my Yashica Mat on Kodak Portra 400asa film, edited to black and white for this post. I actually like the colour one better and will post it later!
