Are we to understand that 9 people of a 12 people jury can unequivocally determine that a cancer was caused by glyphosate? There is no known scientific evidence glyphosate causes any disease and even if it does in .01% of the people who come in contact with it inappropriately, ought we not also measure the benefit to all of mankind by the increased productivity of farms -- yielding more food per acre - feeding more people? What is the tradeoff between famines and cancer in .01% of the people who handle glyphosate inappropriatly?
I think the Monsanto thing is much more political and emotional than factual or scientific.
