Spooner’s Cove – Montana de Oro State Park
The park is located six miles southwest of Morro Bay
To get here, leave the town of Los Osos on Pecho Valley Road and look for the entrance to the Spooner’s Cove day-use parking area on the right just before reaching the campground.
Spooners cove is a day use area. This beautiful cove has a pebbly beach, tide pools, caves, and unique rock formations to climb around on especially at lower tides. Islay Creek Campground, the only campground in Montana de Oro State Park
