Nearly 600 women have been raped in Bangladesh in the past six months. A recent report released by the Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) has come as a sensational information.

In the report published on Monday, the Women Commission said 98 of them women and children were gang raped. 29 people were killed after rape. 61 people have succeeded in fleeing somehow.

There are also about 2063 female victims of rape, molestation, physical abuse and various types of violence.
According to the report, acid attacks were carried out on 10 women and children. 45 people have been attacked with weapons. 77 people were abducted and 13 were sold for business.

113 women were forced to sleep, 51 of whom died. Along with this, 84 people have been married for the first time.
