Moonsteem - a nice way to spend the evening - staring into the moonsteem

Been trying out the new Moonsteem ( https://www.moonsteem.com/ )

What do I like about it? it's very meditative to watch the rising curve and informative see when people clock out.. i.e. how willing they are to walk up to edge and look over..

And graphically it's like being in Command Central! Houston, we have a problem! Only courier font and more green crt lettering would convey it more..

it also has a chat window in it... so you can have real time discussions about strategy and bait each other like at a baseball game..

Overall it's a fun thing to check out..

Important note: to get some steemies to play around with, log into the app then go to their posts and upvote.

Don't do what I did which is upvote their posts, then join, then unvote to upvote to get steemies, then get banned from their faucet (d'oh!)

the faucet is where you check some account info, and see how many free steemies you have

there's also a way by clicking on your name inside the app (far right there's an active window that keeps track of voting) to see a graph of your stats.

And a way to automate voting if you want to set it up and just watch in a mezmerized spell..

overall pretty cool and a good idea of what can be done to enhance the experience of watching a graph grow..

oh yah! also don't do this: bet a bunch and try to do a 1.01 cashout on it as a Last bet before bed but be too tired late at night and so something like a 1.2 or more and before you know it moons and you lose it all.. yah, don't do this

(not to worry.. 1 steem = 1M steemies, so when deposits are accepted, this is all talking about pennies right now)
(although some people are doing 10K bets.. brave souls.)

It even looks like people are tossing around strategies to change the automation rules. I haven't figured anything out that really wins yet. After my 700 mistake had about 550 left and been able to get it up to 620 or so but I'm happy just hitting automate and just watching it run.. maybe telling some campfire stories and eating smores.. that kind of thing

But this is a great example of using the blockchain for something other than crypto, and integrating chat, games, features, blah and blehblehbleh into something cool.
