- Waking up with an intention. The right intention will set you up for the day.
- A hygiene routine. It could be shaving, oil pulling, a skincare routine, a cold shower, or anything that makes you feel neat.
- Make your bed. Hit a tall glass of warm water. Affirm.
- Journaling. You can use a notebook, a journal, a diary, or even just a piece of paper. Try to cut it short and set a goal for the day.
- Activity. It need not be burning tons of calories at the gym. It can be as simple as walking and stretching. The goal is to prioritise movement and improve circulation.
- Breaking your fast with a decent meal. Breakfast is a crucial meal and you shouldn't miss it unless you're into dry or intermittent fasting. Keep it simple, palatable, and satiating.
Even if you achieve 80% of it, you're miles away from the herd.
To me, this sounds like winning.
Maybe they were right when they said, “You win your day when you win your morning.”
*BONUS TIP: Keep your phone in “Airplane Mode” until you complete your morning ritual.
