The sanctity of al aqsa mosque

As a holy city for Muslims, the city of Jerusalem along with its Al-Aqsa mosque has been tainted by the crimes of the Israeli Government intent on ruling and destroying it, and setting up their place of worship on its ruins, despite their traditional beliefs forbidding to worship in the region.
The sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is not only because it was once the first direction of the Qiblah and the place of worship for the Muslims, but it is a symbol of Muslim self-esteem in the eyes of the world. It is right for Muslims worldwide to defend their sanctity, by maintaining its existence.
