Stay at home Struggle

I am a stay at home mom by choice. So why am i depressed most of the times? Why do i feel sad and lonely, however i am not alone. Isn't being with your kids supposed to be the best thing ever? Isn't it supposed to be the best feeling in the whole world. Why do i feel frustrated and overwhelmed? Why do i feel like i am not accomplishing anything in my life?.... Let us first agree that a stay at home mom is the hardest job on the planet. It is very hard and take a lot from you physically, emotionally and mentally. You never have time for yourself. You always feel like you have to do something and it never ends. Adding to that the impact of social media. You check your facebook page and you find pictures or posts of people and how they "happily" spending time with their kids and having fun while you sitting on the couch, having food crumbles everywhere and struggling with your parenting. You feel only FAILURE. You are not achieving anything like other happy mommies.
Calmdown mommies. Everything in life has its ups and downs. Motherhood is not easy at all and you are doing the best job ever. You are working hard as much as you can. I am sure you are blaming yourself everynight. But trust me i am sure that your kids love you the most. Take it easy on yourself, drink a cup of coffee and relax for ten minutes only. I am sure you will feel better
