Remembering I Chose My Mother on Mother's Day!

in mothers-day •  7 years ago

We choose when we come into this life including our parents and we choose when we leave this life to begin a new adventure! Today on Mother's Day in 2018 I remember my choice in picking my mother as I watched her and knew how much she wanted me.

As I watched her and my father together, I knew I would love them and help them in this life as we had done before in our previous incarnations and will do again in the next. While to many souls already incarnated in the lives of my mother and father, picking my parents might have looked like a big gamble.

Today I am grateful I remember just a little bit and am available here to share what I do remember with you. On this Mother's Day, I remember my gratitude for the service of my mother in helping me build this body into one of service and love to its fellow travelers here.

From my view in heaven with God, I saw only the opportunity to learn and love with nothing to lose because nothing real can be threatened and nothing unreal exists. I flew from the sun to the earth as a gigantic phoenix of fire and light ready for another gift of life in form on this planet. As I built my body, I left a reminder of the last existence on my leg as a birthmark lest I forget how it ended last time. For about twenty years I forgot who I was and went on a journey like the prodigal son in the bible.

If this sounds crazy, I recommend reading Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past-Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives by Brian Weiss and Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife by Eben Alexander because each of these books will help you remember as they helped me!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your mother and wife on mother's day! You've inspired me to write a post about my mother who passed away a couple years ago.

Good job Jerry, I have started to follow you more closely lately. Although we don't share the same beliefs, I love how open and vulnerable you allow yourself to be in such a spotlight. It is a rare and encouraging thing... Thank You.

@jerrybanfield Thank You for being here One Day at a Time. I have not commented on your posts for quite a while but on Mothers Day it is appropriate and there is no better day than to tell a Friend that you Love Them and you hope that Today was a Good Day.

Wow! You & Mom look so much alike! Be blessed on this Mother's day!

@jerrybanfield for me,

Mothers are so great for humanity. They should not only remember one day.

You have wonderful mother @jerrybanfield. Send my regard to her. Without mother I don’t know what would I become.

In my country Indonesia, we celebrate mother day on December. So I should wait some months more for celebration.

But I want to congrate you now.

Salam

Wow Jerry my friend you are looking good beautiful with your beautiful mother.💞

I most liked your childhood pictures with your beautiful mother.
My friend I advise you that, always remember your mother, because every day is mother's day. "Mother's Day" is only reminder, but my beautiful friend when your mother is alive, you love her, I think every day is your mother's day.
Are you agree?

@JerryBanfield,

THANK YOU so much for speaking about your soul mate relationships with your mother and father and choosing them before you came in to this specific time/space reality.

And Thanks also for giving those two book references so those who see your post now or in the future can read and absorb their wisdom if they so choose.

In relation to this one...

Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past-Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives by Brian Weiss

I smiled then and I'm smiling now, remembering how I took a copy of the above book to give to a prominent psychiatrist here in Jamaica. That must have been either in the late 1980's or very early 1990's.

I hoped he would read it and at least think about doing past life regressions for his patients. Needless to say, he was neither amused nor interested. He may have even suggested I book a normal appointment with him..... but it's so long, I don't remember that part. ;)

Luckily back then, we had a master past life regression hypnotist living here in JA whom I'd met and consulted with a few years before in addition to a couple I'd seen in the US.

Now this has opened up a journey down memory lane way back then this time around for me!

No wonder Memories was such a popular song. ;)

I've said it before in previous comments on a few of your past posts and I will say it again... Thanks for Being Who You Are and doing what you do. It was your YouTube videos about Steemit that tipped the balance and made me decide to join.

Namaste.
