The mind accepts something as true with a belief. Believe means hold as true.

Most of our beliefs come from our ego, from what we consider good or harmful. These ideas have mostly been gained across many lifetimes and preserved in our minds.

Are you terrified of consequences if you break what you learned? Beliefs are normal and human, but they must come from us and provide us inner peace. Unfortunately, our family, church, school, and social background shaped most of our beliefs. Remember that what we believe today may not be true in life.

How to discover all your beliefs? Inner discomforts suggest growing emotions. Each is caused by ego beliefs. Fear and guilt are in them all. As these two emotions grow, so will your desire to persuade. Pride indicates a domineering ego.

Consider a woman who thinks smoking and drinking are unhealthy. She avoids it and controls herself effectively. However, she has a smoker and occasional drinker spouse. She won't admit to controlling herself and will say it's her choice. The more she urges her spouse to quit, the more he resists, making this woman emotional. He believes his wife's behaviour is based on a belief, not love.

How do we know she rules? Because she wants to dominate everyone who disagrees with her. She believes her truth is undisputed. This lady doesn't realise that she quits smoking and drinking out of concern for her health and that life always brings what we fear.

In fact, the subconscious only interprets our ideas' visuals. Her subconscious associates alcohol with illness when she says, "I don't drink, it can make me sick, it's not good for your health".

I'm not criticising this woman's views. Every non-essential material we take demands more effort to digest, absorb, and remove.

Instead than making you feel guilty, utilise this list to learn about and appreciate yourself. Avoid doing something you feel guilty about. More you embrace yourself, the more you allow yourself to diverge from your convictions and lose control. You'll recoup all the energy spent to manage yourself.

Only love and acceptance change attitudes. Acceptance of oneself and others underpins Listen to Your Body and is explained in the BE GOOD course.

Applying love rules to your life can help you KNOW rather than BELIEVE. Only you will know what benefits you. People who act differently won't disturb you. You will realise that we all have distinct experiences to learn about each other. I remind you that you are on Earth to evolve, not to help others. These just exist to help you practise unconditional love and see yourself.
