Hey Steemers!!!

You fucked up.

Not ten years ago. Not last year. Not last month. You fucked up immediately . Today. 5 minutes ago. The worst part? It’s not the primary time. It’s not the second time. It’s the millionth time. The millionth time you set a goal and failed. The millionth time you gave into your addiction. The millionth time you began to try to to something, but you didn’t.

You fucked up… AGAIN.

You’ve been within the same situation repeatedly before, yet you made all of an equivalent mistakes. it had been time for you to form a choice. You said you were getting to learn from your previous failures. You said: “Next time goes to vary .” But it wasn’t. When it had been time to act differently, you didn’t.

You made a wrong decision… AGAIN.

You trusted the incorrect person. You betrayed someone’s trust. you bought too attached to someone, too soon. You acted like an asshole. You were needy and insecure. You stayed during a toxic relationship. You were scared to maneuver on. You spend too long trying to urge over someone. You acted during a way that completely disgusts you once you look within the mirror.

You fucked up. AGAIN!

You decided it had been time to raised your life. You set goals, figured out a schedule, and sketched up a to-do list. You said you were getting to awaken early tomorrow. You said you were getting to attend sleep earlier. You said you were getting to own your goals and eventually achieve what you began to… starting tomorrow. So what went wrong?

You fucked up TODAY.

You gave into your anxiety. You started overthinking and overanalyzing everything. The emoji some girl utilized in her text. Whether that guy you wish saw your Instagram story. what's the purpose of life anyway? Why are we all here? you recognize this is often just a phase. you recognize worries and questions like this only are available moments when you’re avoiding handling a drag . You’ve been during this situation 1,000,000 times and you vowed that next time, you were getting to react differently.

You gave into your anxiety… AGAIN!

You said you were getting to be less angry. You said you were getting to complain less. you made the decision you were getting to surround yourself with better people and be nicer to your family and friends. Yet, you fought with them again. Over bullshit. Over unimportant things. you bought aroused . You yelled and lost your temper. You regretted it moments later.

You fucked up. AGAIN!

You said you were getting to stop checking out answers online. Most of the time, you recognize you won’t find what you’re trying to find , you’re only getting to find extreme cases. You promised yourself you’re getting to follow an idea to truly change yourself, instead of just seeking validation and encouragement. You said you weren’t getting to just keep reading motivational articles to form yourself feel better.

You fu… wait, you didn’t ???

This article isn’t encouraging. It isn’t nice. It’s holding up a mirror to your face and slapping you at an equivalent time. check out that. You’re doing something new. You’re making a change, one step at a time. Because that’s all you'll do.

You fucked up. You fucked up again. And you'll botch again.

That’s just about what life is: you create choices, fuck up, then attempt to make better choices. Rinse and repeat. But so as to form better choices, you would like to understand you made a nasty choice within the first place. Not only that, you would like to know why that choice was bad and what you'll have done differently. But before you'll do any of that, you would like to admit to yourself that:

You fucked up… AGAIN.

Yes. A millionth time. A millionth mistake. an equivalent mistake you create countless times before. Good. Let it hurt. Let it burn deep. Let that pain crawl deep inside your soul and take a shit on your values. You deserve it. You fucked up. There’s no deed from your mistakes. There’s no pretending they didn’t happen. There’s no “making yourself feel better” to avoid feeling this manner .

You. Fucked. Up. AGAIN!

Honestly, you ought to know better by now, but that’s fine. this is often your Day Zero. this is often your rebooting. this is often once more once you decide “Enough is enough!” and begin planning your comeback. This time, it really goes to vary . It’s getting to vary because, this time, you're able to admit that:

You fucked up… AGAIN.

It’s getting to vary because you’re not deed from your problems. This time, you won’t run faraway from the pain you are feeling . Instead, you’ll embrace it and let it overwhelm you. You’re getting to feel every hit, every burn, and each cut. You’re not just hoping you'll change. This time, you’ll have a technique . This time, you’ll do things differently. This time, you’re able to clash with Life once more .

You fucked up. It’s time to try to to something about it.

Too often a person stops at a mistake and dwells.

Rather, allow that experience to be your guide.
The next time you find yourself in the same situation, you have experience. You have dealt with this before.
You have an opportunity to improve your skills.
Soon you will be able to walk through such experiences like a pro!

Don’t get caught up in the mistake, or the fact that you feel there WAS one.
But instead look at what you think went wrong, and why. No, not because it was YOUR fault, or because something YOU did wrong.
But look at the facts, the actual occurrences.

What happened?
How could that have gone differently?
What things can I do next time that would make this a better experience?

And most importantly, don’t feel bad about mistakes. They are a good thing and necessary for each of us to grow.

Your mistakes can make you a better person, if you let them.
