Quote of the Day!- Truthfulness.

in motivation •  7 years ago

For whatever its worth, I have to say, I admire and respect the men and women who have lived truthfully despite the various odds associated with the aim, plan and drive to live truthfully.
It never gets better for “these persons” because we live in a world where the truth and crusaders of the truth are arrested, maimed, prosecuted, stoned, ostracized, harmed, queried, sacked, hated, envied and even killed. The world is lie personified and the truth always hurts.

Truthfulness is Character and character tells of us to the world what we will not ordinarily be able to speak about ourselves but, through what we do.

It is a hard knock life where the purpose of decency has been relegated to the background and men have become unashamed of being considered fraud, misfits, robbers, killers, rogues, thieves, criminally insane etc etc.. the list is endless.
The trend at this all important period exalts the indecency of human creation and when you finally get someone who tells the truth, you can tell they have character and that my friend, is PRICELESS.

I Feel Blessed!

What are you doing with the truth today?
Are you making the truth count for something order than it is perceived to be?
Are you living with the rest of the gang and following through with their trade mark for fear of being ostracized, harmed, queried, sacked, hated, envied and even killed?

Will it hurt that bad if you stuck to the truth against all odds?

No one can claim to be truthfully truthful, but some can be seen and perceived as truthful and they live the word as it is spelt. The not so much truth serenaded types, will always tell you they are truthful and when you look in too deep, you will find the worse kinds of truths taking residence in the hearts of liars.

TRUTH OR NOT? Not mine to say or apportion, but it is up to the world to see who is and who isn't.

Truthfulness is Character and character tell us to the world what we will not ordinarily be able to speak about ourselves but, through what we do.

Truth is the foundation for a fair and just society. In court, we require witnesses to swear to tell ‘the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth’, because only that way can justice be delivered.

Well said. The truth is not safe anymore

I admire and respect the men and women who have lived truthfully despite the various odds associated with the aim, plan and drive to live truthfully.

I agree with you 99.8% on this @ejemai. Although its not really ease to stand firm and stay true your core value in the midst of odds that almost seem like a reoccuring decimal.
But it really pays to be a person of character.

Thanks alot for sharing

Most people tend to neglect the importance of being truthful and having integrity these days.

You are right @ejemai. People glorify in evil than good in our present time.
Virtue is everything and we should keep being good examples where ever we find ourselves and change the world with the little we can.

Sir, my former boss will always 99.9% integrity is not integrity at all, it must be 100%. Saying the truth and standing by it can actually put someone in trouble in our world here. But it's always good to stand out. Righteousness exaults a nation, the Holy Books say.
The points of the post is understood sir, "when you finally get someone who tells the truth, you can tell they have character and that my friend, is PRICELESS." Thanks for sharing.

This is really the heart cry for this present age. We have decided to choose evil as good and good as evil. Rights as wrongs and things that should be frowned at as things to embrace.
It's saddening.

Truthfulness is a character.

Character in Greek, which Is it's origin means a stamping tool or a statue.

The stamp of the Nigeria coat of arms has been thee before my birth, whether raining, earthquake, whatever..... The horses still remain in place.

Character is unshaken.

I agree with you boss. Sometimes the truth hurt but it always worth it to be truthful in every situation you fine yourself.

Truthfulness is Character and character tells of us to the world what we will not ordinarily be able to speak about ourselves but, through what we do.

It's only takes Integrity to live a truthful life.....

Being truthful is not a matter of saying it. It should be a character, like you said. It is the character that will then speak for us.

someone had once asked me:does truth changes or is it one thing that is constant?if we believe that nothing is constant in life, then we are left to ponder about truth. what is the different between fact and truth?
I believe facts usually evolves. what was a statement of fact some years or decades ago might not be now. For example, during the early 15-17th century, to say that the earth was flat is a statement of fact. But no so now.
But truth is always truth, fact might be close to the truth or equal to the truth. Being truthful is a virtue coupled with honesty.

Sage words from my mentor @ejemai.I really love this part

For whatever its worth, I have to say, I admire and respect the men and women who have lived truthfully despite the various odds associated with the aim, plan and drive to live truthfully

God keep you for us sir #RESPECT

Truthfulness is key! It helps with confidence and even character review. Lies fly everywhere these days and most people have come to accept lies as normal.

The more we get to know humans sometimes, the more we come to admire a dog. An untruthful person will be disloyal.

Thank you for this, sir. Your words always run deeper.

We gave you a lift

Hmmm...this is rare in our world today and i mean talking like this. Everybody dont care no more about making the world a better place because there is this beleive that "its not my papa own" and so, we tend to care much less about this our world plus the fact that we only celebrate result instead of mean and that's why everybody wants to make result irrespective of the means they get that result and its messing our world up. And i can promise you its not gonna get any better. Thanks boss. It's mr xplicit, your music idle @mrxplicit.

Sometimes, saying the truth can lead to a lot of hurt feelings. I agree that it's good to be truthful but I also believe that sometimes it is just not worth it @ejemai

True words sire.

But I have an issue.

Truth! It's very underrated these days.
It's more like business, like an open relationship. So whichever hurts less takes the front.

Sometimes, it doesn't seem "fair" to speak the truth, not only cos it'll hurt but it kills most times (or at most gives a first class ticket to very "grave" decisions).
It's good to be truthful but like my friend @otybest would say, it's safer to be diplomatic. 😁
