Eat the frog - a good method to stop procrastinating

in motivation •  8 years ago  (edited)

Some tasks on our TO DO lists are less popular. We keep on ticking chores off the list first but the frog remains there, looking at us everyday. Making us procrastinate and feel guilty.

Try eating the frog first thing in the morning for a week. Tackle the hardest problem on your plate as Mark Twain says. Week isn't much. You can do it! After one week take some time for reflection. Honest observation of how your week was. Do it out of curiosity, for yourself, just to experiment a little.

I did it a month ago. Guess what? I loved it and I will keep it up. Not only it helps me making things happen but also it makes me feel good about myself. What's more, I have more joy doing the less important tasks from my TO DO becasue I know I did the biggest, most strategic one already.
