NO MAN IS AN ISLAND

Yes, I was born alone and will probably die alone. Yes, I will be buried and judged eternally alone but the fact still remain, you cannot do it all alone. I grew up with the mentality of surviving alone and nothing good came out of it so I am saying it confidently; No one is an island here on earth.

Relationship buttresses this point, to get married or have friends, you need another person or people to relate with. You own a business and start feeling important that you have arrived, please pack your bag and go back to your village because you need other people as business partners or customers or staffs to run the business efficiently.

If we look spiritually, Jesus could have come to this world the same way he left yet he came through a medium; Mary. He could have survived the world because the world was his father's yet he appointed 12 able disciples to spread the Gospel (good news) with him. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is spread by people too. If God can need you to do his work for him as powerful as he is then no one even as a spirit can do it all alone.

Recently, I have gained weight and people have come at me to lose weight but it has been a rough journey. I met someone recently who advised me to so we could work out. I ordered a joggers and trainers online to start exercising soon. Why? I need people I trust and like around to tell me the truth from time to time. I owe this decision to her and use this medium to tell her I cherish, adore, like and love you babe because you inspire and motivate me - my Muse.

The secret of relationship is to get the right people around us to draw strength from. Yes, there are right people around us that motivate and inspire us to be a better version. Even on online platforms like this, I have become a better writer by people who have inspired me. When I joined months back, I thought I could do it alone then there was nothing to show forth. I joined communities and selected friends who have truly helped me.

Finally, I advice anyone reading this to relate with people and stop claiming to be an island. An island is an island because it is surrounded by water. No one is truly an island, we can not do everything alone. We need one another to grow. Kindly pray everyday to meet the right people because they define how fast or slow we get to our destination.
