Martin Luther King Jr. said it best when he spoke from his heart. He spoke about his dream and the passion that fueled it. He shared his vision and people listened.
Why did people listen to him?
Why not some other man?
Because MLK spoke directly out of passion and the dream he had was one that could easily be gotten behind. The good of other people was his greatest concern. People could follow that and stand for it. A speaker who's vision is of great value to other people will be the best leader.
To be able to speak your dreams and people will stand behind you to support you is the greatest recognition of a leader. People will follow people who share common dreams and goals however the leader is the one to speak his dreams first and outline his goals first.
The leader is always the first to share and the first to listen. The leader is always the first to inspire and the first to lift you up. Leaders area first by nature but they are last in one area. They are last in taking care of themselves. They put others before them always and won't help themselves until all others have been helped.
