Be Unreasonable To Achieve Your Goals

I would like to talk to you about being unreasonable. When most people hear this, they are surprised because throughout their whole life they’ve been told to be reasonable. They’ve been told that being unreasonable is something that only a crazy person would be. They’re told to stay within the norms and limits that societies or their families has imposed on them.

However in order to be successful, you have to be unreasonable to achieve your goals. This can come in a various number of ways. So successful people understand that it is critical to act without reasons. You cannot act within the, somehow agreed with, realities. If you want to achieve something that, for you is impossible/highly improbably at the moment, or is a huge challenge, you have to go over and above what others believe the norm to be.

Otherwise, you will be an average person achieving average results.

So if you want to achieve more than the average person, you need to be unreasonable with your thinking.

Think about this - in the past there were a lot of people that were unreasonable. They were branded crazy or even persecuted - but, if it wasn’t for these unreasonable people we wouldn’t have any of the technology or inventions that we have today.

We wouldn’t have cars, air conditions, space travel or the internet internet. These were all things that were unreasonable but because someone took the chance to do something that believed in and were unreasonable until they achieved it, we now have these.

You don't have to invent the next internet but to achieve something great, that’s more than average, you need to be able to be unreasonable.

Sincerely,
@kevinfar
