I learned about twin spirits from Theosophy. Some believe that people were perfect, male and female, at the beginning of time. Our nature was bright. Some faiths hold that the soul emerged as two sexes and two principles, feminine and masculine. The two souls purify during their journeys to reconnect with the light and reunite.
Other theories claim twin souls may initially meet and feel extreme delight and feelings. Both are attracted to each other and immediately foresee a future together. This view of twin souls holds that soul mates are people we immediately sense a connection with and a potential for a strong friendship rather than a sexual relationship.
According to my observations, our soulmates may have an astral connection to our soul family. We regard our immediate relatives, children, close friends, and spouses to be part of our extended family.
After leaving our bodies, we reflect on our life plan and soul's mission, assessing our successes and places for improvement. This assessment helped us understand how to regain enlightenment. We'll return to Earth to continue our quest.
As we mature, we may experience a connection to soul family members, either the same or different. With loved ones' help, we can progress. The people who help us grow hint we worked together in prior lives. I call these people my blessings, my joy and happiness.
In every place I've taught, people want to find a special connection with someone who compliments them. I now realise that we want to balance our feminine and masculine ideas. Please consider the idea that a twin soul, a special person one is destined to meet, may not fit your beliefs.
You will find a harmonic synthesis of your inner self and a deep heart connection as you practise self-love and love others unconditionally.
Instead of changing your partner's defects, traits, weaknesses, strengths, beliefs, fears, and boundaries, it will help you build a harmonious relationship. Multiple people have told me that as they grow, their intimate relationships become more fulfilling. This shows that our new spouse may reflect our personal evolution rather than our twin soul.
Some of the people we connect with deeply may be better companions. Even when there is significant attraction to a soul mate, the connection may be difficult. The outcome depends on our openness. Our souls may be drawn to each other because they see a potential for reciprocal growth and self-discovery, where the other person can illuminate aspects of ourselves we may not recognise.
Frustration, unhappiness, or fury may suggest that you're hesitant to accept the other person's perspective. If you don't involve your partner in your own progress, you may experience identical emotions and challenges. Consider your connection habits if you investigate alternative options. Certain traits of yourself may attract comparable companions.
