YOU HAVE TO BE REALISTIC

in motivation •  7 years ago

Time as we all know can be your best friend or your worst enemy. You spend time doing something that turns out to be unfruitful. You later realize that you could have used all that time in doing something else which would have definitely yielded a better result. Lets forget about the motivation speeches for a while and tell ourselves the truth. If you can't do something, you accept that fact and try out something else. You have to be realistic because the worst lie you can tell, is the lie you tell to your self. Let me give an example with an event most of us face in life. Examination. When you are writing an exam, you know that you don't have the whole day to write it. The time is always limited. When you come across a question you are not sure of, it is a good practice to skip it rather than spending much time on it while there are obviously easier questions to answer. Lets stop lieing to ourselves. If it isn't working, you tell yourself it isn't working. There are other things to do. The Toyota company used to sell sewing machines. They realized that wasn't working, probably it wasn't giving them the funds they needed. They had a chance to revolve and go into production of cars. They were realistic. They left the sewing machines for the mobile cars.
Time is always a factor in every decision, in every change, in every event. But just know that it's never too late and you're better late than never.
Have a blessed day.
