A lot of people keep on asking, Are we really saved?

Good Morning steemians. How is your day today? Hope that we are all good and great especially blessed. This morning I want to share with you what was I got in our shepherding in our church. This Topic I was the one who shared this last time and God's Grace and Help I was explain it clear them.

For it is grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift- not by works so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Do you doubt easily? Why?

Your can be sure of your salvation. As a follower of Jesus, you don't need to constantly doubt of your salvation. True salvation is marked by repentance. It is received by grace through faith, and it results in life transformation.

True salvation comes after repentance

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:10-11

Experiencing salvation begins when you turn away from your sins and turn to God. This is called repentance.

Repentance is not just.....

REGRET - It is not just recognizing that you have done something wrong.

REMORSE - It is not just feeling sorry for your sins, especially when caught.

REFORMATION - It is not trying to compensate your sins with good deeds.

True repentance completely embraces God's love and forgiveness so that the believer hates the sin that God hates. True repentance is having a new heart and a new spirit that pleases God.

Many try to get right with God by becoming religious or doing good works that only lead to self-righteousness. True salvation can be earned. It is only by God's grace (His unmerited favor) that you can receive it. You have done nothing to deserve it. But because of Christ, you can receive salvation and forgiveness of sins by putting your faith and trust in him.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:17

While salvation can only be received by grace, true salvation must result is transformation. True salvation that happens in the inside can only be proven by the changes that show on the outside- your speech, actions, attitudes, and even your thought life. If you claim you are saved from sin, then your life should show evidences of hoe God changes your life.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
