Denzel Washington is my favorite actor and pretty much any movie he's in, I will go to the movies and watch (by myself or with someone, does not matter to me). There is a reason why I admire the man and it is not because of his acting skills. The character he possesses is very powerful. I will go through some of the stuff I enjoy from him and when you watch a movie with him in it, watch him closely.
THE WALK
He has a walk on him that is not fast but has long strides. He walks with a lot of confidence, like he owns the place. Like he is in no rush to get anywhere and just takes his time. What I like about it is the swagger he has with his walk and recently people have been taking notice. I copy it because it just screams confidence and its very attractive quality.
THE TALK
How he speaks infront of a camera in an interview or in a movie is as bragging as his walk if you ask me. He doesn't shout, but he is not quiet. He does not speak too fast and makes every word clear. the tone is confident and he speaks his mind while still maintaining 100% gentleman status. It's like he makes every word count.
THE STARE
How he looks at someone or how he focuses on people possibly tops the list for me. It's like he shows the side which you really do not want to mess with, especially if he gives you that stare when you did something wrong. That's why he was really good at acting as a gangster in american gangsters. He speaks with his eyes as much as his mouth if that makes sense.
OVERALL CHARACTER
Denzel Washington is not just an actor, he is an example of what a gentleman should be like. A role model to guys in their 20s and 30s because he is saying this is what a man is like and you should learn from it. He is always striving to be the best and keeps preaching it aswell. He has the attitude of a BOSS which to this day, women still want to line up for him.
