Raise Your Hands if you have ever discovered a difference between the two (Plan & Eventuality): a difference between what you intended and what eventually happened.
Life is filled with surprises, although not all the time. Sometimes, the surprises are as a result of ill-plan , not having enough knowledge of the past or most times, not being able to see ahead into the future, or life happening like it does without forewarning.
Nevertheless, it pays to plan all the same. Like the saying goes, Man Proposes, God Disposes but .... Would it be foolish or wise to plan even when there is a possible disposition? I suggest we plan wisely all the time.

I can say with certainty that things rarely go as planned, there's always an unplanned eventuality, like my comment right now is not what I wanted to say.
To answer your question, even though plans don't go accordingly it is still best to plan because it provides a framework on what to expect.

Beautiful post @ogoowinner.
You just reminded me of the song We Are One by Angélique Kidjo. Album The Lion King II: Simba's Pride
She did give great reference to things not going the way we planned and then she went further to encourage us.
Great post once again.
