Have you ever been in crossroad position before?
Have you ever been in a situation where you are to choice between two heavy weight options?
Have you ever found yourself in a two-sided coin situation?
What you choose at this moments go a long way to determine lifetime.
"I think you will agree that life's plans are not always tied up in neat little packages. Occasionally we find ourselves at unexpected crossroads with more than one opportunity from which to choose. Time itself is often the best indicator of which decision to make, for it can tell so many thing that are now hazy."
There are two paths in life: Should and Must. We arrive at this crossroads over and over again. And each time, we get to choose.
Over the past year I’ve chosen Must again and again. And it was petrifying. And at times it was dark. But I would never, ever, trade this past year for anything. This essay is my three biggest takeaways from the experience. It’s for anyone who is thinking of making the jump from Should to Must. Anyone looking to follow the energy deep within their chest but aren’t quite sure how.
Should is how others want us to show up in the world — how we’re supposed to think, what we ought to say, what we should or shouldn’t do. It’s the vast array of expectations that others layer upon us. When we choose Should the journey is smooth, the risk is small.
Must is different—there aren’t options and we don’t have a choice.
Must is who we are, what we believe, and what we do when we are alone with our truest, most authentic self. It’s our instincts, our cravings and longings, the things and places and ideas we burn for, the intuition that swells up from somewhere deep inside of us. Must is what happens when we stop conforming to other people’s ideals and start connecting to our own. Because when we choose Must, we are no longer looking for inspiration out there. Instead, we are listening to our calling from within, from some luminous, mysterious place.
We stand at the crossroads, each minute, each hour, each day, making choices. We choose the thoughts we allow ourselves to think, the passions we allow ourselves to feel, and the actions we allow ourselves to perform. Each choice is made in the context of whatever value system we have selected to govern our lives. In selecting that value system, we are, in a very real way, making the most important choice we will ever make.
Since the foundation of all happiness is thinking rightly, and since correct action is dependent on correct opinion, we cannot be too careful in choosing the value system we allow to govern our thoughts and actions.

Let me site myself as a case study
Am an undergraduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Tecnology. A 400level Microbiology student. My university has been on industrial strike for some time.
In order not to be idle , i engaged myself in works that gets me money in return.
Fortunately, I got employed in PAGA agent job and my duties include attending to customers and getting records down. It was a job I loved because one of my strength and passion is attending to service of other people. But the pay was not okay as most of the quarters of my salaries is majorly spent on feeding and transportation and nothing left to save.
Luckily enough, my alma matar gave me a call to come and assist in taking some students and with a better pay and a better amount of saving.
I was on lock-down for few days because I was at the CROSSROAD
I was terribly confused but how did I get out , I made a list of my preference and goals and I concluded to go for the school job. Some of the reason were
Why?
I'll feel better fulfilment impacting real lives by teaching real human beings.
Teaching will afford you more time for yourself to accomplish other goals such as steeming as the previous job took almost 11hours of my time for 6 days
Elbossaa is my Alma Mater. Consider it a chance to give back and actually make a difference in the system. Even if the system won't change, you can at least change the mentality of some students in the system. Even if just 1, it's something..........I had this goal before I left school.
Financially, Am getting a better pay.
My point here is
At various CROSSROADS in life; goals, purpose, values, destination helps a lot
Start setting you goals and your preferences, a lockdown period awaits you and you have to
make rational decisions when it matter most
Each day is a new beginning. You can start fresh, anticipating what today will bring. Or you can just settle for yesterday's doubts, fears, or worries. Which road will you take? Do you take the path to the clear present or the the shadows of the past?

Wow, your write up reminds me of a quote > the journey of a man can never be smooth but rough, but you just have to discover yourself and purpose in life. @Olanrewaju, keep boosting and bursting brains because God has a divine purpose for everyman at every turning point.
