Get Realisitc About Your Wishes.{Do Not Just Wish For It, Work For It Too}

My brother has a shirt that he loves so much and he wears it for almost every special occasion he attends, the last time he wanted to go out, I told him not to wear the cloth and I asked him if there was really anything special with it, he said the only reason why he loves to wear the cloth is because of the words that are written on it and that was the time I decided to carefully read the words written on the cloth.

<they wish for it, but we work for it>

These words really got me thinking as I realized that that is one great mystery of life, while we have people who only day-dream about achieving success, we have people who work extra hard to get things done.

What Do You Wish For?

It is not a lie that there is a great power behind your imagination, as a matter of fact, you can successfully transfer the idea from the mind into reality. The mind has so great a power that you can plan a project of six or even twenty years in it.
You could sit all day alone trying to reason out an idea and luckily for you, you may be able to unfold the mystery, that is a great power of the mind.

You can decide to wish for success by sitting and imagining yourself in a big house or in a very flashy car, your mind will not stop to imagine them for you because it obeys whatsoever you feed to it.

Stop Wasting Time.

The longer you sit and wish for those things you wish for without putting in any effort to actualize them, the more time you waste because you can dream and imagine for as long as you want but the only thing that has the power to make your wishes come through is work .

Successful people do not achieve all that they have achieved today by sitting idle and wish that they attain success, No, what they do is to plan and then set to work as soon as they can because they know that they have no time to waste.

While You Work, Get Smart.

There are a number of people who work really hard and are still unable to achieve success, the reason for this is basically because they have refused to add smartness into what they do, you cannot keep working blindly, you need to become smart at whatsoever you do.

Don't just work hard, work smart. Imagination without action.. Is daydreaming.

Yes, it is

I have a friend named Julius. We became close because of his writing skills. He dreamt of reaching the level of Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Ola Rotimi one day. He has written alot of stories but the problem is, the stories has not passed the four corners of his room.

My love for what he does, I created a blog for him and also borrowed him money to repair his phone to connect with people on social media. Since I did that act, I have only see one post on his blog.

The thing about life, people don't care about you dream till you package it into something that catch their interest. You have to put conscious effort and commitment towards your Idea, if not you will keep wishing and the dream my lose its flame because idea are volitile.

Julius is now pursuing music career.

Seriously.....thank you so much for sharing this piece.
