Sometimes All You Need To Do Is...

I ‘ve learned a lot from our puppy who seems to have grown way too fast over the past couple of months. Now he is double the size than when we first got him.

Upon his arrival to our house, our little puppy would roam about the house crawling underneath beds, sofas, and dressers making it difficult for me to get him out. So we invested in small puppy fence and placed it in the doorway so he only had access to the family room.

A few months pass by and now our puppy is no longer small but close to full size.

Do you know what this means?

It means that the fence is small and our larger sized puppy can simply step right over the fence.

The amazing thing is he doesn’t even try.

Why?

Because when he was smaller the fence stared him right in the face.

A lot of people are like that in life. The obstacle that stopped you a long time ago still stops you today. So you don’t even try because you think you tried before and failed.

But what if you gave it another try?

All my full grown puppy needs to do now is lift one leg over his tiny fence and he is free to roam about the house. But in his mind, that fence stopped him before. So he stays confined with just access to one room in the house.

You too have grown and past fears can be challenged and conquered. You’re bigger than that obstacle now.

You simply need to try again and take that needed step.

Once you do, you may end up in a new place in your life.
