Super Woman

They say, "what a man can do a woman can do it better". I read this some years ago and I smiled. A friend of mine didn't really agree with that mantra; he'd say,

If a woman can pee into a bottle without spilling a drop of urine, then she can do things better than a man".

Truth is; anybody can do anything regardless of gender. Whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve. Granted, men are physically stronger than women, so they can do a lot of heavy lifting. But, gone is the era where might was the major factor for survival; '

the pen is mightier than the sword°

This is an era where ideas dominate. Ideas are not a man thing, or rather, aren't restricted to the male gender; women have them too.

Where do ideas come from? Answer; they come from the mind. Funny question, but I'd still ask; what is the mind?. That which is responsible for one's thoughts and feelings; the seat of the faculty of reason. So, women can have ideas too; because they have thoughts, feelings and reasoning. With ideas, not just ideas, great ideas they can rule the world.

There is a school of thought that says a woman's education, vision and aspiration will eventually end up in the kitchen. In other words whatever life aspiration she has will be subject to a man's (her husbands) approval. A lot of women are beginning to believe it. I totally disagree.

Marriage is not the end itself but rather it is the means to an end. A good man should support his wife's aspiration like she'd do. Marriage is like team work; what one person couldn't achieve, two can.

A woman must pursue her dreams. She must find her path and follow. She should be on that path, advancing as the day goes by. Her man, as a matter of necessity, must find her on that path.

He should be aware that this is the path she has chosen. He too should be on his path. But if he feels that her path may be a hindrance to his, he's free to back out.

No woman should leave her chosen path for the sake of a man. The right man will eventually find you on that path. Don't settle for less when you can have the best.

You don't need a man to feel complete, neither do you need one to find happiness. Let your happiness come from within. Find completeness or rather wholeness in yourself.

Women, I beg you; you don't need a man to feel whole. Live life to the fullest. Be independent, be free, have a mind of your own. You're amazing, you're beautiful, and yo don't need a man to make you feel these things.

Spend your money as you deem fit, buy whatever you like, travel to wherever place you want. You don't need a man for these; you have all it takes to achieve these and more.
So, ladies, dream big, set goal, and strive to achieve them.
