Thanks for this, Julia; I had no idea we were reducing growth hormone production by eating before bedtime. That is one change I will make. I am a night owl by nature who loves the morning. My biggest challenge is to stop working or reading at night! ;(

I'm so happy that you have found the new information in my post.
I am also working and reading late in the evening. I use night shift feature on iOS, which makes colors warmer and reduces the bad impact of using mobile devices in the evening. On Windows/macOS/Android you can use F.lux program for the same. And an hour before the bedtime I do not use any devices. At this time I walk, read paper books or plan my day.

Yes! Thanks so much for your extra tips! I'm not familiar with the F.lux program, but I will check it out. I did get a new blue light filter in my last set of glasses and that seems to be helping a little.
