the Vacationer

We all know of that procrastinate-r that resides in all of us, that dude that has the energy to press the snooze button but is too lazy to wake the rest of the body up. I have to say that recently he has been dominating my life. I find myself having the energy to write down all the things that need to be done for the day - yet i'm still left with an empty "to-do list." I know we tend to blame other people and other external forces for the things that go wrong in our lives, not considering that our very small decisions are the building blocks of what the outcome of our big decisions will be.

I started by doing away with the snooze button routine and i have decided to pick myself up (figuratively and literally. One of the best feelings in the world is looking at something you have 'DONE' and feeling proud of your potential. At that point you get the urge to continue getting "dones" and regenerate the feeling as much as possible. I believe any human on earth who relates to this will agree with me that being a vacationer feels nice but achieving goals enriches the soul.
