If you ever feel like you aren't sure about doing something productive, remember, anything that's productive certainly helps you grow, and anything that helps you grow is better than those easily attained victories.
If you are that person focussed brutishly on results than on the ways you are taking to attain them, then you are hardly still connected with the thirst why you took something up in the first place; success is an illusion that suppresses your upper limits, and makes you believe you have lived up to whatever you'd been meaning to live up to.
And do you know what makes growth more preferable to success?
You can grow even from failures.
Every time you fall, growth is in how efficiently you stand up than the last time.
Every time your work is rejected, growth is in your ability of having taken someone's time to evaluate you, even if it turns out there's a lot in it you have to develop your skills at.
To be honest, growth is in every part of your life that you take one step forward.
If you are ambitious, you will never grow; you are focussed on Jeff Seid's results after a day or two of barbells.
Instead, think of yourself as a newer version to tackling yesterday's bugs.
Then, grow.
