Today I'm going to start with a question, "What have you been up to lately?"

The past two weeks was quite eventful for me; thinking, visiting, speaking, outing and a few writing seem like a big deal right? (Maybe not!)

You definitely accomplished some tasks (I suppose), maybe much more than I did or even less...I'd like to know in the comments section!

We all have desires and expectations, few of which when achieved, keeps us high-spirited and motivated to do so much more for ourselves and others, while other unaccomplished tasks leaves us broken, wondering, depressed, worried and demoralized because we couldn't reach the mark.

I'd give you a senario - a story from my school (university) days.
At 100 level second semester, I wrote a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.00, the highest score attainable (at that time) by any student. As I write this, I could remember how I spoke about this "awesome" feat so proudly that I felt, 'the keys to academics had been placed in my care'; I was that proud (though subtly).
Ha! Ha!

Fast forward: Two semesters later and I was already in 200 level. Our results were released for the first semester exams we took, I went depressed that whole night because I had a 4.20 GPA, what I considered "a whopping failure" judging from my previous performance...

However, it baffled me how that many other students with even lower grades leaped for joy at the sight of their results, some testified in church and that further challenged me. Hence the lesson:

SOMEONE ELSE IS HAPPY WITH LESS THAN WHAT YOU HAVE!

I'm barely two weeks old on the platform, not accomplished so much but I think I'm happy with the progress so far as revealed by @stemitboard, here

When I see the amazing performances of other steemians, the first thing I do is, check out how long they've been on the platform and how much they've contributed, then think on how to add more value to the community by reading, voting, commenting, participating in contests and activities such as #newbieresteemday and @resteemable, all these has really helped maintain a positive and healthy behaviour on the platform. I think other minnows too should emulate, not because I have established empires already but because I believe it's a worthy roadmap...

When you come on-board and stay for a week or two, truth is, you'd definitely feel same way, virtually everyone on this platform felt that way.

So, the central messgae here is, DON'T WORRY!

Why worry when you can create your own blog?
Why worry when you can vote other posts and earn too?
Why worry when you can comment, resteem and earn?
Why worry when you can particpate in activities and contests and win rewards?
Why Worry when you can pray?

Fact: Worry has never been known to change anything about the life of anyone, not today, not ever!

Sorry, I lied! That (fact) up 👆 there was absolutely wrong....
Because worry can actually change something about you, guess what?...Your BLOOD PRESSURE, from normal to high!😞

Will you want that?
Absolutely Not!

Chill mate, it's a patient but consistent struggle down here, just think contribution and that's how you get started!

Cheers!
