In every human being there are at least two personalities. These personalities exist and contend at the level of the soul. Your spirit is one, your body is one, but your soul can manifest in multiple personalities. And every now and again each of these personalities try to take control of your mind through your feelings, and consequently direct your will to do their bidding and not of the other personality.The mind of mankind is essentially a battle ground. Hardly would a thought cross your mind and an opposing suggestion or idea would not come immediately after. To do or not to do, to go or not to go, to be or not to be, to respond or refrain from responding, to speak or remain silent, to react or not to react – every day, very frequently our minds keep considering decisions and alternative decisions. These suggestions and alternative suggestions are in my explanation, the voices of the two persons living in one body.What any of your two personalities suggest you do, is a reflection of the nature of the personality speaking to your mind at that moment.Whichever suggestion you accept eventually is what your physical body will agree to work with and manifest eventually.Winning in life depends on how you win your battles at the level of thoughts. Your thoughts are the voices of the two or more opposing personalities you’re capable of manifesting at the level of your soul. So next time when a familiar person says to you, you don’t know them, better believe them.The voices of these two personalities are powerful strongholds in your mind. The strength of your spirit man ultimately determines the voice you easily yield to.Dear friend, you must keep winning your battles at the level of mental arguments and ensure you agree with the best suggestion as the voice you heed eventually determines your physical results in life.Draw back a bit today and take a good look at your life, all you see dear friend, is basically a consequence of the voice of the personality you most listened to and obeyed up until today.There are two of you my dear friend. One is a dreamer, one is a realist. And the realist bothers not about the dynamics of life and changing times. Consequently, the dreamer rules the future, the realist is a victim of the future.There are two of you my friend, one is the fearful the other is the courageous. The fearful permanently sees the negative side of everything. The fearful has great faith in failure, the negative sees the down side, bad side and risky side of everything in life. The fearful would never inspire you to act. The fearful will want you to remain in a permanent state of inertia, apathy and inaction. Battling against the fearful however, is the courageous. The courageous sees the possibilities in everything. The courageous sees great results and outcomes in ventures. The courageous you sees positivity in all things, the courageous you makes the move, makes the attempt, tries out new things and pursues vigorously great and rewarding dreams not minding the cost and sacrifice. The courageous you is not waiting for a perfect situation, he makes perfect every situation. Ultimately in life, the fearful would end up at the mercy of the courageous. The courageous you will own, the fearful you will serve.There are two of you my friend. There is the hard worker and the fun seeker. The hardworking you knows that hard work leads to great profit but laziness can only birth poverty. The hard worker doesn’t indulge in self-pity, the hard worker does all that is necessary and essential to get a task completed, the hard worker is energetic, tenacious, meticulous and passionate about outcomes, the hardworking you is time conscious, he sees every time as valuable and seeks to convert it into valuable moments. The hardworking you does not shy away from any task or responsibility at any time, once there’s work to be done, he’s up and ready. Challenging the hardworking you is the fun seeking you. The fun-seeking you is a great lover of self, comfort and leisure. The fun seeking you is a believer in little effort plenty returns, the fun seeking you loves entertainment and sees entertainment as life itself. Television, social media, sports, parties, clubbing, drinking and hanging out takes almost 90% of the daily activities of the fun seeker. The fun seeking you is energetic too, but the energy is channelled into non value creating ventures.  The hardworking you ultimately is a huge profit maker and an empire builder, the fun seeking you remains a wage earner and a pension seeker at the end of the day.There are two of you my dear friend, one takes responsibility the other rejects responsibility. The you that takes responsibility is in charge of choices, actions, reactions and ultimate outcomes in your life. He does not indulge in blame game, the way your life is today is not blamed on your parents, your siblings, a rich uncle, a wicked boss, a bad employment, an insensitive government or an unfair life, the responsibility taking you is not wimpy, he thinks up ways around issues and keeps on keeping on – avoiding detractors and distractions, the contender is the responsibility rejecting you, the you that rejects responsibility blames everything in your life today on someone or something. It’s never your fault, you never have anything to do with the state and condition of your life today. If only your dad was better, if only your mum cared more, if only your rich uncle helped you, if only your employer paid you more, if only the government performed better, the responsibility rejecting you is the whining and lamenting you, the responsibility taking you is the quiet, wilful, rugged and dogged you. The responsibility taking you end up eventually as a leader, the responsibility rejecting you will eventually join the poor masses. There are two of you, one is controlled by the people around – what they think and how they see and treat you, there is the other you however, who is self-controlled; in charge of his emotions, results and eventualities in life. The controlled lacks self-esteem and will end up deceived and misdirected, the self-controlled has high self-esteem, is in charge and would end up respected by all.There are two of you my friend, one leads you to a great life the other brings you down to nothingness, one offers you a great future; the other offers you a bleak future.In everyman there are two personalities, both presidents and paupers have two personalities, the voice they choose to heed however, is what their life today is clearly reflecting. Success and greatness and glory in life is consequently not a matter of who you are but what you choose to do despite who you are. Your results in life are consequences of choices not perfection. We are all weak and we are all strong, it’s all a matter of choices. There are two of you, which one of you do you listen to?
