Jewish Philosophy & the Qu'Ran

in motivational •  4 months ago

Jewish Philosopher Baruch Spinoza said, "I have made a ceaseless effort not ridicule, not to bewail, not to scorn human actions, but to understand them." According to the Qu'Ran and World Hijab, it is said, "... avoid much [negative] assumption... And do not spy on or backbite each other."

Spinoza is one of my favorite philosophers and the Qu'Ran is one of my favorite books to date. In fact, studying about and learning history and philosophy is one of the hobbies that I like to engage in, and I consider myself to be an Omnist. If anyone ever gets a chance, please take a look at Expedition Unknown (Amazon, Discovery+). Josh Gates is an Archeologist who travels the world and studies various cultures, beliefs, myths, etc.

"Wow, I'm loving this post! 🤩 The quotes from Baruch Spinoza and the Quran are so profound and wise. It's amazing how two different philosophies can align on the importance of understanding human actions without judgment. 😊 As someone who also appreciates learning history and philosophy, I'm totally with you on being an Omnist! 🌎 And that recommendation for Expedition Unknown is spot on - Josh Gates is always so fascinating to watch! 🤯

It's great to see someone engaging in these intellectual pursuits and sharing it with the community. Xpilar,

Thank you for your kind words I do appreciate it. I don't know how to vote on that ; however, if you know how, could you please inform me.

Secondly, yes, I would love to continue conversing over philosophy and history, and how come I've come to enjoy it and love it.
