We are not nouns, we are verbs.

“Oscar Wilde said that if you know what you want to be, then you inevitably become it - that is your punishment, but if you never know, then you can be anything. There is a truth to that. We are not nouns, we are verbs. I am not a thing - an actor, a writer - I am a person who does things - I write, I act - and I never know what I am going to do next. I think you can be imprisoned if you think of yourself as a noun.”

This sentence is a not mine, Stephen Fry write it and when i foud it i loved it. I do not want bore you with explanation, in this case i think they are useless.  By the way, i am a verb and i want to be the verb change .

I always say that love is a verb, not a noun. It's what you do, not a thing!

True, to love it's a verbe, and one of the most important in my opinion.

This was so true !

Love it...I agree its too easy to live as a "label"....although I think in this constant world where we seem to need constant stimulation ...I like the thought we are human beings not human doings...
