The lady in the picture is KRISTEN ARMSTRONG,is a professional bicycle racer and three-time olympic gold medalist.
At the age of 35 she won gold medal at Beijing olympics, then she decided to retire and announced her retirement.
But she got back to her bike after giving birth to her son LUCUS in 2010, having a dream in her eye (better to tell her dream in her exact words) “what woke me up every morning in the really cold frigid mornings was a vision of having Lucus(her son) on the podium with me”.
And then came LONDON 2012 OLYMPICS
her determination paid off and her dream became reality. This picture is of that nonpareil moment,the feeling which nothing else can give and as told by her “it was just a moment in time that no body could take away”
She didn’t stopped there itself she was back again in RIO 2016 games.When asked why she is taking risk again ,her answer was “because I can”,and she did.
She won her third consecutive gold medal there at the age of 43 .
Respect for her.
